PBBM inaugurates Bagong Pilipinas eGovPH Serbisyo Hub for enhanced public services

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. inaugurated the Bagong Pilipinas eGovPH Serbisyo Hub (BPESH) on Friday, a one-stop shop designed to facilitate faster, simpler, and more convenient public services for Filipinos.

During the launch at the Makabagong San Juan National Government Center (MSJ-NGC) in San Juan City, Marcos expressed the aspiration for a centralized service point where citizens can access all necessary government services in one location. “We have always aspired to actually being able to do a one-stop shop na isang punta lang, nandiyan na lahat (where you just go in one place and everything is there). And this is now what we are inaugurating here in San Juan,” he stated.

The President emphasized that the initiative is not limited to Luzon or Metro Manila, as plans are in place to replicate the model across local governments nationwide. He acknowledged the challenges citizens face, such as long queues that can delay obtaining clearances from government offices.

“The government is making strides in simplifying, expediting, and enhancing public access to government services,” Marcos noted. He expressed optimism that the new system would significantly ease the process for citizens. “I am very, very optimistic that this will make things much easier,” he added.

With the launch of the BPESH, Marcos highlighted that his administration is taking a significant step into the 21st century, aiming to improve the experience for citizens. “This makes things much, much easier. That is why the aspiration here is we will even go one step further for those people na medyo malayo sa poblacion, malayo sa opisina ng national agency, ay mas mabibigyan ng pagkakataon basta’t may connectivity (those who are a bit far from the poblacion, far from the national agency office, so they would be given more opportunities, so long as there is connectivity),” he explained.

The President also encouraged the public to utilize the eGovPH Super App, a mobile application that integrates front-line government services into a single platform, allowing citizens to conduct transactions without visiting offices. He noted that the app has received recognition from various international organizations as an exemplary application.

“We are very proud of this eGov app not only because it is really an enormous step in making things more convenient for our people,” he said. “We can just keep moving and eventually, all the payments that you can make, you can do it now over the eGov app through electronic banking. So, that’s a very, very large advantage.”

The BPESH has been operational since its soft launch on June 2 at the MSJ-NGC, which was strategically chosen as the first venue for this initiative. The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) spearheaded the establishment of this centralized public assistance hub, consolidating critical government services in one location to address a wide variety of assistance needs.

Key services offered at the BPESH include medical financial assistance through guarantee letters for hospitalization and medical services, free legal counseling and consultation, job-matching opportunities, and assistance with applications for clearances and legal records.

The hub also features digital infrastructure that supports online applications, real-time tracking, and digital feedback mechanisms. Trained personnel will be available on-site to assist clients, particularly those who may be unfamiliar with digital systems.

Looking ahead, the government plans to roll out additional BPESH locations in strategic areas nationwide to further enhance public service delivery.
