Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has called on city offices to maintain momentum in improving public services, warning that recent progress should not lead to complacency.

He instructed the Local Economic Development and Investment Office to expand the TAPAT loan program, aiming to provide financing to more micro, small, and medium enterprises this year.

The Economic Development Sector was directed to simplify business procedures and enhance support programs for local entrepreneurs.

Sotto highlighted progress in the Business Permit and Licensing Department but emphasized the need for stronger digital systems, better online services, and measures to cut bureaucratic delays.

City officials were also tasked with operational improvements, including maintaining cleanliness at the Mutya ng Pasig Mega Market and streamlining tricycle loading and unloading zones to improve traffic flow.

Other departments were urged to increase productivity, with the Public Employment Service Office strengthening connections between employers and jobseekers, and the Veterinary Services Department continuing upgrades at the city slaughterhouse.

The mayor stressed that daily challenges should inspire city offices to adopt more efficient and effective ways of delivering public services throughout 2026.
