Pasig City celebrates 24th Bambino Grand Festival

Pasig City marked the 24th Bambino Grand Festival on January 19, as part of the Feast of Señor Sto. Niño. With the theme Bambino de Pasig, Daan ng Pagkakaisa ng Pasigueño sa Kaunlaran,” the festival highlighted unity in the city’s pursuit of progress.

The day kicked off with a lively parade featuring Sto. Niño images from 30 barangays across 13 parishes. Starting at E. Caruncho Ave. and ending at Immaculate Conception Cathedral (ICC), the procession showcased diverse devotions, with many carrying Sto. Niño images, dancing, and chanting.

The parade’s highlight was the Bambino de Pasig, joined by Mayor Vico Sotto, Congressman Roman Romulo, Vice Mayor Dodot Jaworski, and City Council members, who thanked participants and guests. A Holy Mass was held at ICC before the parade, and the nine-day Novena, from January 10 to 18, was also part of the celebration.

The event was a collective effort by the Cultural Affairs and Tourism Office, the Diocese of Pasig, the Office of the City Mayor, and various city agencies.
