The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) proudly celebrated the successful, peaceful, and safe conduct of the 2025 National and Local Elections (NLE) across the province. This achievement is attributed to the meticulous preparations and enhanced security measures implemented under the leadership of Police Colonel RollyFer J. Capoquian, the Provincial Director.
Before election day, police forces were strategically deployed in areas identified as election hotspots. Increased police visibility, checkpoint operations, and strict enforcement of the COMELEC gun ban were implemented to ensure order and peace throughout the province.
No serious election-related violence was reported in Pangasinan. The PPPO maintained strong coordination with the COMELEC, AFP, PCG, BFP, LGUs, and other agencies, along with active community participation.
According to PCOL Capoquian, the success of the elections was not only a triumph for the PNP but also for the people of Pangasinan. “The discipline, cooperation, and unity of all were key to a peaceful election,” he said.
The Pangasinan PPO remains on high alert to ensure security until the official canvassing of votes and the declaration of the winning candidates. This success underscores the PNP’s wholehearted commitment to promoting peace, order, and electoral integrity under its mandate.
