Thirty-six families in Pangasinan left their homes Tuesday after water levels rose near their communities, according to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
PDRRMO operations chief Vincent Chiu said 19 families were from Alaminos City, while 17 came from Bani.
The affected residents remained in evacuation centers as local authorities monitored the river and nearby low-lying areas.
Flooding was also reported in Bolinao, Labrador, Lingayen, Pozorrubio, Balungao and Dagupan City.
A minor landslide occurred in Bolinao, although provincial and national roads remained open to traffic.
Chiu said the province would likely stay under blue alert until Thursday. No deaths or injuries had been reported.
The provincial government allowed local officials to decide on class and work suspensions based on conditions in their jurisdictions.
Pagasa forecast 100 to 200 millimeters of rain over Pangasinan until Wednesday noon due to a low pressure area and the enhanced southwest monsoon.
