Palawan’s trusted financial partner just made life a whole lot easier for its customers. As part of its 40th anniversary celebration, the Palawan Group of Companies has teamed up with GCash to launch the Cash In and Cash Out ng Bayan service—now available in more than 3,500 Palawan Express Pera Padala (PEPP) branches nationwide.
For customers in Palawan, this means they can now convert their GCash balance into physical cash—or load their digital wallet—without the long trips to city centers or waiting in bank queues. Whether it’s sending money to family, paying for school fees, buying supplies, or simply making sure there’s cash on hand for emergencies, Palawan Express branches are now a one-stop shop.
Known for its serbisyong mura, mabilis, walang kuskos-balungos, Palawan has been a lifeline for communities, especially in rural and island areas where financial services can be hard to reach. This new GCash partnership bridges the gap between digital and physical money, giving locals more flexibility and control over their finances.

For GCash users, the convenience is unmatched. “This partnership makes it simple for our users to convert digital money into physical cash,” said Jong Layug, Head of GCash for Business. With Palawan’s wide branch network, even residents in remote barangays can enjoy easy access to their money.
Beyond just cash services, Palawan and GCash are also working to integrate Palawan’s insurance products into GInsure, giving more Filipinos access to affordable financial protection right from their mobile phones.
For the people of Palawan, this isn’t just a new service—it’s a big step toward a future where financial empowerment is within everyone’s reach, no matter where they live.
