President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday appoints Atty. Anna Liza Logan as the new Presidential Chief Legal Counsel.
Logan who was the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs of the Office the President replaced the late Juan Ponce Enrile.
Before joining the Office of the President, Logan worked as a litigation lawyer handling both civil and criminal cases, including matters involving family law, labor disputes, and cases before the Human Settlements Adjudication Commission. She is also a part of the Philippine National Railways’ (PNR) Board of Directors.
She also served as a lawyer for different financial technology companies, real estate development entities, Non-Government Organizations (NGO) and was a part of multiple law firms including Marcos Ochoa Serapio and Tan

She also applied for the Ombudsman post after Samuel Martires announced his retirement, a position that was given to Jesus Crispin Remulla.
Her previous position as the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs was given to Jesse Hermogenes Andres.
