Philippine Airlines (PAL) has partnered with the Department of Tourism (DOT) to offer layover tours for international travelers passing through Manila.

The program, known as Transit Tours, allows passengers to explore select city landmarks during stopovers lasting at least eight hours.

Tourists can book the experience through PAL’s official website or the LovePH mobile application.

DOT Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco said the initiative provides opportunities for travelers to experience Manila while supporting local guides, transport operators, and businesses.

Starting January 30, 2026, each four-hour tour will include two hours for travel and two hours at destinations such as Intramuros, the National Museum, Solaire, and Okada.

Tours are priced at USD 50 per passenger, covering entrance fees, insurance, water, and rain gear, with a DOT-accredited guide accompanying the group.

The program aims to transform airport layovers into meaningful cultural and leisure experiences while boosting tourism-related livelihoods in the capital.
