The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) on Thursday launched its All-Gender Helpdesk to assist employees with gender-related concerns.

The helpdesk is an upgraded version of the former Women’s Helpdesk and provides a “safe and confidential space” for employees to raise grievances or seek advice without fear of repercussions.

Employees accessing the helpdesk may receive legal consultations, psychological support referrals, and guidance in filing administrative complaints.

Pagcor said the helpdesk features a unified, multi-platform communication system with a single contact number, an official Facebook page, a standard complaint form with a QR code, and a designated office at its corporate headquarters in Pasay City.

The scope of the helpdesk has been expanded to cover cases of gender-based violence.

Julia Morales, head of Pagcor’s Gender and Development (GAD) Committee, said the committee contacts complainants or witnesses to determine the appropriate support.

“It must be emphasized that we will not act on complaints or provide consultations unless we have the consent of the complainant or witness,” Morales clarified.

Pagcor also introduced other gender-focused initiatives, including the GAD Digital Corner and a strengthened GAD Focal Point System.

Regular inspections of employee shuttle routes are conducted to ensure the safety of women and persons with disabilities.

Pagcor Chair Alejandro Tengco said the initiatives reaffirm the agency’s commitment to a workplace that is “safe, inclusive, fair, and empowering for all.”
