Generally fair weather is expected across the country on Tuesday, although isolated rain showers and thunderstorms may still develop later in the day, Pagasa reported.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the easterlies continued to affect the eastern sections of the Visayas and Mindanao.

The weather agency said most areas would experience fair conditions during the day.

They added, however, that thunderstorms could still occur in the afternoon and evening.

Eastern Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Davao Oriental may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country are also expected to have generally fair weather, with possible isolated rain showers later in the day.

The agency said the same weather pattern may continue over the next three to five days.

Pagasa said it was not monitoring any low pressure area or tropical cyclone inside or near the Philippine area of responsibility, while no gale warning had been raised over the country’s seaboards.
