The Office of the Vice President (OVP) on Thursday said the Commission on Audit (COA) found no wrongdoing in its 2024 financial statements following the release of the agency’s Annual Audit Report.

COA published the Executive Summary and full report on December 1, 2025, covering the OVP’s accounts and operations for Calendar Year 2024.

In its statement dated December 4, the OVP said the audit observations raised by COA were discussed with its management team during an exit conference on May 15, 2025.

“The OVP highlights that there were no findings of loss or wastage of government funds or property in the audit,” the agency said.

It added that all issues flagged by COA were “primarily administrative in nature” and that management agreed to implement all recommendations.

COA issued an unmodified opinion on the fairness of the OVP’s financial statements as of December 31, 2024.

According to COA guidelines, an unmodified opinion is the highest audit assurance, meaning the financial statements are presented fairly in all material respects.

The OVP emphasized that an unmodified opinion is “the highest level of assurance,” confirming the accuracy and reliability of its financial reporting.

“No finding of wrongdoing,” the statement concluded.

The COA report was dated May 16, 2025.
