The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO-3) will deploy more than 12,000 law enforcement personnel and volunteers across Central Luzon to ensure a safe and peaceful observance of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days under the “Ligtas Undas 2025” initiative.
PRO-3 Director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. said around 3,000 police officers will be stationed in cemeteries, memorial parks, churches, transport terminals, and tourist areas from October 29 to November 5.
Over 1,000 personnel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Philippine Coast Guard will also assist, along with 7,600 force multipliers such as barangay watchmen, civic groups, and volunteers.
“This proactive deployment ensures that all cemeteries, terminals, and public areas are properly secured for the safe and orderly observance of Undas 2025. It reflects our continuing commitment to safeguard the public during one of the busiest times of the year,” Peñones said.
He also thanked partner agencies and community volunteers for their continued cooperation.
“Their active participation embodies the true spirit of ‘bayanihan’ and shared responsibility in maintaining peace and security,” Peñones added.
