The AI solutions incorporate Microsoft Azure’s intelligent automation engines that are seamlessly integrated across the ODP, supporting the full revenue cycle: patient access, mid-cycle operations, and back-end processes.

Omega Healthcare is turning up the dial on innovation. The leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management (RCM) services has expanded its collaboration with Microsoft, launching over 20 next-gen AI solutions designed to transform the healthcare revenue cycle.

Powered by Microsoft Azure’s cutting-edge AI through Azure AI Foundry, and seamlessly integrated into Omega Healthcare’s proprietary Omega Digital Platform (ODP), these solutions are automating some of the most complex and time-consuming RCM workflows — from denial management to call center support and correspondence processing.

Since the partnership began in 2023, Omega Healthcare has moved quickly, embedding intelligent automation within the ODP framework. The result? Streamlined operations, improved compliance, faster claims resolution, and measurable financial gains for healthcare providers — all without requiring massive tech investments.

“Together with Microsoft, we’re tackling challenges the industry once deemed too complex to automate,” said Anurag Mehta, CEO and Co-Founder of Omega Healthcare. “Our AI-powered services are designed to scale, helping healthcare leaders stay focused on their core mission: delivering exceptional care.”

Microsoft, too, is taking note of Omega Healthcare’s trailblazing role.

“Omega Healthcare stands out as one of our most innovative partners,” said Elena Bonfiglioli, General Manager of Worldwide Healthcare at Microsoft. “They’re applying Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI capabilities to solve real-world healthcare problems — particularly in revenue cycle management — with high-impact results.”

These AI-powered tools span the entire RCM lifecycle — from patient access and mid-cycle functions to back-end processes. The solutions automate tasks like medical coding and denial appeals, while enhancing critical services such as clinical documentation improvement (CDI) and evidence retrieval.

The impact is already being felt: clients have reported up to 75% reductions in AR follow-up days, quicker claim resolutions, and stronger regulatory compliance.

Omega Healthcare is also rolling out AI-driven tools for payers, including automated retrospective HCC coding, and solutions for data curation in life sciences — showcasing its expanding footprint beyond traditional RCM.

“The possibilities are endless as we continue co-creating new AI capabilities with Microsoft and our customers,” Mehta added.

Backing this optimism, a recent Everest Group survey found that 85% of healthcare executives believe AI will significantly improve RCM efficiency in the next five years — a future Omega Healthcare is already helping to shape.

“We’re proud to be at the forefront of RCM transformation,” Mehta said. “The momentum is real, and our customers are already reaping the rewards of generative and agentic AI — with much more to come.”
