Motorists should brace for an oil price increase on Tuesday, March 25, following three straight weeks of fuel price rollbacks.
According to industry estimates, gasoline prices may rise by around ₱1.00 to ₱1.20 per liter. Diesel is expected to increase by ₱0.30 to ₱0.50 per liter, while kerosene could go up by ₱0.20 to ₱0.40 per liter.
The adjustment is attributed to recent movements in the global oil market, including supply concerns and changing international demand.
Oil companies are expected to announce the final price adjustments on Monday, with new prices taking effect by 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
Motorists and transport operators are advised to plan ahead, especially with increased travel expected during the upcoming Holy Week.
