Nutella has launched a new flavor, marking its first major product update in more than 60 years.

The brand said the new variant combines its signature hazelnut spread with roasted peanut flavor, offering a twist on the original formula introduced in 1964.

Company officials said the product maintains the same creamy texture while incorporating a nutty profile aimed at broadening its appeal.

They noted that the release responded to long-standing consumer demand for new variations of the popular spread.

The company added that the new offering aims to refresh snack options while retaining the brand’s core identity.

To promote the launch, Nutella will hold a themed pop-up event in New York City’s NoHo district scheduled for May 16 to 17.

The brand said the event would highlight the new product and provide consumers with an opportunity to experience it firsthand.

Nutella, produced by Ferrero, has expanded its lineup over the years with items such as biscuits and snack packs alongside its original spread.
