CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Police Regional Office in Northern Mindanao (PRO-10) and the Department of Education (DepEd) have formalized their partnership to enhance school safety across the region.

Dr. Derrold Marl Aves, DepEd Cagayan de Oro Division senior education program specialist for human resource development, met with PRO-10 Director Brig. Gen. Nestor Babagay Jr. at the regional headquarters on Tuesday.

PRO-10 will provide a resource speaker for the Regional Assembly of Educational Leaders here on Nov. 24 to 26.

Police representatives will focus on law enforcement and child protection, specifically the proper handling and management of cases involving children.
