The National Housing Authority awarded Certificates of Eligibility of Lot Award (CELA) to 101 qualified beneficiaries, and 95 Transfer of Certificates of Title (TCTs) to fully paid beneficiaries on the last day of the recently held Housing Caravan: Asensong Ramdam held at the San Jose del Monte Convention Center in Bulacan.
The awarding ceremony marked a culmination of the four-day caravan, which ran from November 4 to November 7, 2024, providing essential housing support to communities across the city.
NHA General Manager Joeben Tai, together with Assistant General Manager Alvin S. Feliciano, Region III Manager Minerva Y. Calantuan and Bulacan OIC District Manager Engr. Leonora M. Danganan, personally spearheaded the NHA delegation to the caravan, underscoring his unwavering support for this comprehensive endeavor aimed at improving the lives of Filipino families.
“Kaya po, nagsasagawa tayo ng mga hakbanging katulad nito para makatulong na bigyang kulay at katuparan ang isa sa mga ninanais ng ating mahal na Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., na magkaroon ng isang progresibo at matiwasay na pamumuhay ang ating mga kababayan para sa isang Bagong Pilipinas,” GM Tai said.
The caravan also brought a sense of relief to beneficiaries like Josemillo Pajaganas from the Sapang Palay Resettlement Project, who expressed his gratitude for finally securing a TCT to his home.
“Nagpapasalamat ako ng marami sa NHA dahil naibigay na sa akin ‘yung titulong inaasam ko,” said Pajaganas.
House Committee on Housing and Urban Development Chairperson Rep. Florida Robes initiated the Housing Caravan to make housing services more accessible to the residents of San Jose del Monte City, making it a one-stop shop for their housing needs, issues, and concerns.
Aside from NHA, other Key Shelter Agencies (KSAs) were present during the event, including the Home Development Mutual (Pag-IBIG) Fund, and the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC).
