QUEZON CITY — Mayor Joy Belmonte officially opened the new Valencia Linear Park along Bonny Serrano Avenue to the public on Saturday, October 17.

The 125-meter-long park, located beside Ermitanyo Creek, provides residents with an additional green space for recreation and relaxation.

Designed to help address flooding in the area, the park features permeable surfaces that allow rainwater to seep into the ground, along with a drainage system that improves water flow and runoff management.

The project forms part of the Quezon City government’s continuing efforts to develop sustainable public spaces, improve urban infrastructure, and promote environmental protection.

Valencia Linear Park is open to the public daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
