In a sweeping week-long offensive against the illegal drug trade, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), in coordinated operations with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and other law enforcement units, seized more than Php180.64 million worth of dangerous drugs and arrested 109 drug personalities across the country.
From November 14 to 21, 2025, authorities carried out 78 intelligence-driven operations across all 18 regions, targeting high-value individuals, dismantling drug dens, raiding clan laboratories, and uprooting marijuana plantations in remote mountain communities. The operations yielded shabu, cocaine, marijuana, and large volumes of precursor chemicals used to manufacture illegal substances.
“This is not just another successful operation. This is a resounding warning to every drug syndicate and pusher: you have no safe haven in the Philippines,” PDEA General Undersecretary Isagani R. Nerez declared. “Our intelligence is sharper, our collaboration stronger, and our resolve unbreakable.”
The week-long campaign resulted in the arrest of 109 suspects, including 69 pushers, 17 drug den visitors, 9 drug den owners, 9 employees, 3 possessors, and a clan lab chemist and laborer. Of the 78 operations executed, 64 were buy-busts, 9 were major marijuana eradication efforts, while others involved search warrants, prison inspections, drug recoveries, and laboratory seizures.
The drug haul marks a major strike against the supply chain. Authorities confiscated 5,787.50 grams of crystallized shabu and additional quantities in liquid form; 24,270 grams of cocaine recovered in Quezon, Palawan; and over 63,650 marijuana plants, fruiting tops, and seeds destroyed in Cordillera, Ilocos Sur, and Sultan Kudarat. Chemical precursors—such as hydrochloric acid, acetone, and toluene—were also seized, disrupting the production of millions of pesos worth of shabu.
Major highlights were recorded nationwide: in Ilocos Sur, 24,450 marijuana plants were eradicated; in Bataan, 500 grams of shabu were seized in a buy-bust; in Antipolo, nearly half a kilo of shabu and liquid precursors were recovered; in Iloilo, 1,693.53 grams of shabu were confiscated; in Leyte, 2,370.45 grams were seized in a high-impact operation; and in Davao Oriental, multiple raids yielded significant quantities of shabu. In the Cordillera, sustained eradication efforts wiped out over 62,900 marijuana plants and seedlings across Kalinga and Benguet.
“Behind these numbers are lives saved and communities protected,” Nerez said. “We are relentlessly pursuing both street-level peddlers and the high-value targets who fuel this trade.”
PDEA vowed to maintain pressure through sustained operations, deeper inter-agency coordination, and community vigilance. The public is urged to remain alert and report any drug-related activities to support the government’s nationwide anti-drug campaign.
