A national-level fugitive listed among the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s most wanted persons was arrested in Pasay City on March 10, the Philippine National Police said.

Operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, working with local police units, served multiple warrants of arrest against the suspect at the basement parking area of a mall in the city.

Authorities said the man had been included in the national most wanted list and carried a Php 400,000 reward for information leading to his capture.

Police records showed that the suspect is facing 19 criminal cases before several Regional Trial Courts, including syndicated estafa, large-scale swindling, and violations of securities laws. Some of the cases carry no bail recommended.

Investigators said the arrest was completed without incident following careful monitoring and coordination among the operating teams.

“Kahit gaano pa katagal o saan pa magtago ang mga wanted persons, hahanapin at hahanapin sila ng ating kapulisan,” said PNP chief Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.

He added that the operation showed the police organization’s continued resolve to track down fugitives and ensure accountability for serious offenses.
