Carmen’s Best is taking its signature farm-fresh goodness nationwide. Once known for its artisanal ice cream made from pure cow’s milk in Laguna, the proudly Filipino brand is now expanding its dairy footprint to the Visayas and Mindanao—bringing its promise of 100% fresh, locally sourced dairy to more communities than ever before.
With the recent acquisition of a 220-cow facility in Maramag, Bukidnon, Carmen’s Best now boasts one of the largest dairy herds in the Philippines. The Bukidnon farm joins the brand’s existing Laguna facilities—two dairy plants and an ice cream factory—creating a seamless north-to-south supply chain that ensures freshness, consistency, and quality across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
“From the very beginning, our goal has been simple: to give Filipinos access to dairy products that are made fresh, with no substitutes and no shortcuts,” said Jovy Hernandez, President and CEO of Metro Pacific Agro Ventures (MPAV) and Carmen’s Best. “Now that we’ve expanded to Visayas and Mindanao, we’re thrilled to offer not just our signature ice cream but also our new milk and cheese products—each proudly made with 100% fresh cow’s milk.”
Strengthening local ties
Earlier this year, Carmen’s Best joined the 2025 Food Summit, where Hernandez met with agricultural leaders and members of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce to discuss collaborations that can help strengthen the dairy ecosystem in the Visayas and Mindanao. The engagement reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to working hand-in-hand with local farmers, distributors, and retailers to uplift the Philippine dairy industry.

The expansion officially kicked off in March 2025 through strategic partnerships with major retailers including SM Hypermarket, Robinsons Supermarket, Metro Paisano, Puregold, and The Marketplace. With this growing retail presence—and more distribution points to come in hotels, restaurants, resorts, and festivals—Carmen’s Best is making its beloved dairy treats more accessible to Filipino families nationwide. Scooping stations in Cebu are also in the pipeline.
Expanding the dairy lineup
As its footprint grows, Carmen’s Best continues to innovate with new dairy offerings made from the same high-quality milk that made its ice cream iconic.
Carmen’s Best Ice Cream remains a household favorite, known for indulgent flavors crafted from premium ingredients. Classics like Salted Caramel, Dark Chocolate, and Everyone Loves Vanilla are now available in more grocery shelves across the country.

Carmen’s Best Milk, launched earlier this year, delivers the same promise of purity and freshness. The line includes Whole Milk, Low-Fat Milk, Low-Fat Chocolate Milk, and Barista Fresh Milk (with 3.2% fat for the perfect microfoam in lattes and cappuccinos). The brand also introduced a new treat—Salted Caramel Milk—a creamy blend of fresh milk and signature caramel.

Bringing its best nationwide
Carmen’s Best continues to live up to its name—bringing its best to Filipino tables, wherever they may be. With its growing presence in the south, the brand is making it easier for families in Cebu, Davao, Bukidnon, and Cagayan de Oro to enjoy real, honest dairy made with integrity and heart.
