Celebrity couple Mikael Daez and Megan Young recently took to Instagram to share heartwarming details and struggles about their first trip abroad with their son Leon.
Mikael Daez said in his post that their trip to Singapore was for work, but he humorously admitted complicating their schedule by turning it into baby Leon’s first international journey, which left the couple with little breathing room.
“However, I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything!” he said.
He also expressed immense joy in seeing Leon adjust and explore the beauty of Singapore alongside them.
Mikael also shared a relatable glimpse into the reality of flying with a toddler.
“For the most part, he was extremely easy to care for. On the plane, to and from SG, he had one moment of wailing, but as soon as he fell asleep, he slept throughout the flight na.”
Before ending his post, Mikael said there are still many more lessons and stories to share, and he will turn that into a podcast episode instead of creating a lengthy caption.
Mikael wrapped up his post by noting that the experience yielded so many valuable learning and stories that they plan to dedicate a full podcast episode to the trip.
“PS. on the third photo, the flight attendant kindly taught us that the car seat should be facing forward and not backward, unlike in the car.”
Following their marriage in 2020, Mikael and Megan became parents in May when their son was born.
