The ‘BinJin’ reign is official. Beloved screen idols and real-life couple, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, achieved a historic double victory at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards on November 19, 2025, becoming the first married pair to ever sweep both the Best Actor and Best Actress awards.
Best Actor Award was presented to Hyun Bin for his powerful performance in the biographical period drama, Harbin. While Son Ye Jin claimed the Best Actress award for her role in No Other Choice, a black comedy thriller.
Both the couple dedicated their acceptance speeches to each other and their son expressing their love and gratitude for their unwavering support.
“To my wife, Ye Jin, whose very existence gives me so much strenght. And to our son, I want to say that I love you both so, so much, and thank you” said Hyun Bin.
“I would like to thank the two men that I love the most, Kim Tae-pyung (Hyun Bin’s real name) and our son, Kim Woo Jin. I would like to share the happiness of having this award with them. Thank you!” said Son Ye Jin.
Aside from those two major awards, the couple also won Popular Star Awards together with Im Yoon-ah of K-pop girl group Girls Generation and Park Jin-young of GOT7.
The couple was known for having played the main role of their popular K-drama Crash Landing on You, where they fell in love with each other—both on screen and in real life.
The couple got married on March 31, 2022, and welcomed their firstborn son in November of the same year.
