Scheduling medical checkups is now more convenient as the Department of Health (DOH) launches the Patient Appointment System (PAS).
The PAS is currently available in three DOH-run hospitals in Manila: Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center, San Lazaro Hospital, and Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital.
Booking a checkup appointment takes only three minutes through the following steps:
- Visit the website: https://patientappointment.doh.gov.ph
- Confirm that you agree to use PAS.
- Select your chosen hospital and the required service.
- Choose your preferred date and time for the appointment.
- Fill out all the necessary information and take a screenshot before submitting.
- Go to your selected hospital and show a copy of your appointment confirmation.
DOH Secretary Ted Herbosa encourages the public to use the system, noting that it is in line with the President’s directive to make healthcare more accessible to citizens.
The DOH plans to roll out the system to more public hospitals nationwide in the coming months, reinforcing its commitment to a more accessible, efficient, and patient-centered healthcare system.
