Mark Herras open to possible US move with family

Mark Herras and Nicole Donesa

Mark Herras says he is open to the possibility of moving to the United States with his family in the coming years, following the career plans of his wife, actress Nicole Donesa.

The actor shared that Donesa hopes to pursue nursing, a longtime ambition that is now taking shape after she was accepted at Trinity. Herras said he is pleased to see his wife moving closer to a goal she has long wanted to achieve.

He explained that the family has also begun arranging documents that could make a future move easier. Donesa is a dual citizen, while their eldest child already has dual citizenship. Papers for their younger child are also being processed.

According to Herras, Donesa has expressed interest in eventually working in the United States after completing her studies, possibly within the next four to five years. He said she even joked that she would petition him to join him there.

Herras said he is willing to follow wherever his children are, stressing that his priority is to stay with his family.

At the same time, the actor admitted he still finds it difficult to picture himself leaving the entertainment industry behind. He said show business has been a major part of his life and identity even before he started his own family.

While he is open to the idea of relocating, Herras acknowledged that adjusting to a different life and finding work outside the industry remains something he has yet to fully imagine.
