The Marine Battalion Landing Team-10 (MBLT-10), under the 4th Marine Brigade, conducted emergency preparedness activities for students and Girl Scouts of the Philippines participants in Cagayan to promote disaster awareness and develop essential life-saving skills.

The activities included knot-tying exercises at Fuga Integrated School in Aparri and Basic Life Support (BLS) training for Girl Scouts of the Philippines participants during their 4th School-Based Camp in Abulug.

In coordination with local educational institutions and disaster risk reduction partners, the initiatives provided the youth with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in responding to emergency situations.

Through the training, participants learned essential skills that can help them respond effectively during emergencies, strengthen their confidence, and become more self-reliant in times of crisis.

The activity also highlights the importance of equipping young people with disaster preparedness knowledge and encouraging active community participation in promoting safety and resilience.
