President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian visited the Pag-abot Processing Center in Liloan, Cebu on Thursday to check on beneficiaries of the government program.

The two officials inspected the center’s facilities, including the clinic, prayer room, activity area, and sleeping quarters, to assess the conditions provided for residents.

They spoke with families and individuals receiving support, asking about their well-being and the services available to them.

The visit forms part of government efforts to provide assistance and social services to vulnerable groups through the Pag-abot Program.

The program offers temporary accommodation along with access to health services, counseling, and activity spaces for beneficiaries.

Moreover, the initiative aims to combine immediate support with opportunities for longer-term improvements in the living conditions of participating families.
