President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said his Christmas wishes this year are a favorable 2026 national budget and more time with his family.

Marcos shared his answers in the final segment of the BBM Podcast Episode 6 released on Thursday.

He said a good budget from the legislature “will make for a very nice Christmas.”

He added that his intangible wish is to spend more time with his family.

Marcos said he misses his simple life in Ilocos Norte before becoming president.

He noted that in his current role, he can no longer relax the way he used to.

Despite this, Marcos said he remains grateful for the chance to help people through public service.

He described the ability to serve and improve lives as “the biggest privilege” given to anyone in government.

Palace press officer Claire Castro said Congress aims to submit the enrolled copy of the 2026 General Appropriations Bill before Christmas.

Castro added that Marcos will no longer certify the measure as urgent after both chambers passed it earlier this month.
