President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. urged voters in Bulacan to support all senatorial candidates of the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas in the upcoming midterm elections to ensure the continuity of his administration’s flagship programs.
Speaking at a campaign rally held Wednesday at the Bulacan Sports Complex, Marcos emphasized the need for a supportive Senate to carry forward initiatives such as the PHP20-per-kilo rice program, the creation of BUCAS centers, the South Commuter Railway, and the San Ildefonso Bypass Road.
He stressed that electing senators who understand the people’s needs is vital for sustaining progress.
The President praised the Alyansa slate as composed of experienced and well-known individuals who are committed to public service and uniting the country for development. He said their goals include maintaining peace and order, reducing the cost of living, and empowering women.
This marks Alyansa’s second campaign rally in Bulacan, a vote-rich province with over 2.17 million registered voters. In the 2022 elections, Bulacan delivered over a million votes for Marcos, solidifying its significance in the political landscape.
