ManageEngine, the enterprise IT management arm of Zoho Corporation, has unveiled a major expansion of its cloud cost management platform, CloudSpend, introducing a new multi-portal architecture designed for managed service providers, cloud service providers, and large multi-tenant enterprises.

The upgrade delivers a unified yet securely segmented environment that brings together cost visibility, governance, and control—addressing one of the most persistent challenges in modern cloud operations: managing spend at scale without sacrificing transparency or compliance.

As organizations deepen their reliance on cloud infrastructure, financial and operational complexity has risen sharply. According to Gartner, worldwide end-user spending on public cloud services is projected to reach $723.4 billion in 2025, highlighting both the momentum of cloud adoption and the growing urgency for disciplined financial operations.

For service providers managing hundreds of customers, and enterprises overseeing multiple business units or projects, traditional cost tools often fall short—fragmented reports, manual billing processes, and compliance risks quickly become the norm.

ManageEngine positions CloudSpend’s new architecture as a direct response to this reality. Srinivasa Raghavan, director of product management at ManageEngine, said service providers have long been caught between the need for customer-level transparency and the obligation to maintain strict isolation and governance.

The same tension, he noted, exists within large enterprises managing multiple tenants under a single cloud environment. The new multi-portal approach is designed to resolve that trade-off by unifying visibility across tenants while enforcing data boundaries, automated policies, and contextual controls.

At the core of the update is the ability to operate multiple dedicated portals, each running in a secure, independent environment with its own budgets, alerts, thresholds, and workflows. Administrators retain centralized oversight through granular role-based access and policy controls, ensuring governance is consistent without exposing sensitive data across tenants.

This structure allows service providers and enterprises to scale their FinOps practices confidently, even as the number of clients, projects, or business units grows.

The platform also introduces intelligent cost-saving recommendations that automatically surface underutilized resources, suggest rightsizing actions, and identify savings opportunities across clouds. By reducing manual audits, CloudSpend aims to cut waste, improve efficiency, and maximize return on investment.

Management is further streamlined through a single command center that supports automated billing, chargeback, and branded reporting. White-labeling capabilities extend across dashboards and reports, enabling service providers to deliver a fully branded experience to their customers.

To strengthen financial predictability, CloudSpend now incorporates AI-driven anomaly detection and forecasting. By analyzing historical usage patterns, the platform can flag unusual spending in real time, project future costs, and deliver actionable insights that improve budgeting accuracy and cost control across all portals.

ManageEngine describes the release as a significant milestone in CloudSpend’s evolution into a next-generation FinOps solution. As cloud environments become more distributed and financially complex, the company says it will continue to focus on deeper governance, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making—helping service providers and enterprises build more resilient, future-ready financial operations.

CloudSpend is available to organizations of all sizes, including MSPs, CSPs, and multi-tenant enterprises. The platform offers free cost tracking for up to $3,000 per month in spending across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Paid plans begin at 1 percent of monthly spend above $3,000, while organizations with more than $100,000 in monthly cloud spend may request a custom quote.
