The Makati City Government has resumed the distribution of its Quarterly Rice Incentive for persons with disabilities (PWDs), with beneficiaries from Barangay Pinagkaisahan recently receiving their 10-kilogram rice assistance for the third quarter.
The program, initiated under the leadership of Mayor Nancy Binay, aims to provide regular financial and food assistance to PWD residents as part of the city’s continuing efforts to strengthen social welfare services.
Under City Ordinance No. 2025-A-025, qualified PWDs in Makati are entitled to receive an annual cash incentive of ₱6,000 and 10 kilograms of rice every quarter.
In addition to the rice distribution, Mayor Binay introduced a LandBank ATM enrollment system to streamline the release of benefits and make transactions faster and more convenient for beneficiaries.
The initiative seeks to improve the delivery of government assistance by providing PWD residents with easier access to their entitled benefits.
Through these programs, the Makati City Government continues to strengthen its support for persons with disabilities by promoting accessible, efficient, and inclusive social services.
