LTO Chief and Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II is among the officials who signed the Memorandum of Agreement on Partnership in Transport Safety between the Department of Transportation (DOTr), led by Secretary Vince B. Dizon, and the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), headed by Chairman and CEO Richard “Dick” Gordon.
The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in promoting a culture of safety across land, sea, and air transport. It aligns with Asec. Mendoza’s advocacy, the Stop Road Crash program, which emphasizes the importance of inter-agency coordination to prevent accidents and promote public safety.
Other key officials present at the signing ceremony include PRC Secretary General Dr. Gwendolyn Pang, PCG Commandant Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan, LTFRB Executive Director Rear Admiral Loumer Bernabe, MARINA Administrator Hon. Sonia Bautista Malaluan, and CAAP Director General Hon. Raul Del Rosario.
