The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Region 10 conducted an inspection at the Agora Eastbound Terminal in Cagayan de Oro City on October 20, 2026, as part of its Oplan Byaheng Ayos initiative to ensure safe and orderly public transportation.

During the inspection, LTFRB transport enforcers checked public utility vehicles (PUVs) for compliance with franchise conditions and existing transportation regulations.

Authorities also assessed terminal facilities, passenger waiting areas, and accessibility provisions to ensure the safety, convenience, and comfort of commuters.

Under the leadership of Regional Director Aljo Bendijo, LTFRB Region 10 continues to strengthen its monitoring and enforcement activities to promote reliable and passenger-friendly public transportation services.

The inspection forms part of the government’s broader efforts to improve commuter services under the Bagong Pilipinas agenda of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., with the guidance of Transportation Secretary Giovanni “Banoy” Lopez.

The agency reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that public transportation operators comply with regulations while maintaining safe and accessible facilities for passengers.
