The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board – National Capital Region (LTFRB-NCR) held its second public consultation on Thursday, focusing on PUV terminal inspections, vehicle roadworthiness, and enforcement operations.
Regional Director Atty. Zona Russet M. Tamayo led the session, which brought together 15 Transport Service Entities (TSEs) with 22 participants to discuss regulations and operational concerns.
The consultation aimed to improve public transportation safety and service quality in the National Capital Region.
Tamayo said more consultation sessions are planned to ensure all TSEs have the opportunity to provide input.
Officials encouraged participants to share feedback and suggestions to enhance compliance and operational standards.
The discussions emphasized collaboration between government and transport operators to maintain safe and reliable services.
TSEs were reminded to play an active role in supporting safe, efficient, and orderly public transport.
