The LTFRB Regional Office I on Monday conducted inspections of public utility vehicles (PUVs) and terminals in Pangasinan and Ilocos Norte.

The operations followed previous checks in La Union and were part of the agency’s routine monitoring of public transport in the region.

Inspectors visited several terminals in Pangasinan, including Lingayen, Victory Liner, Solid North, BAMACADA, and PANTRANS.

In Ilocos Norte, they focused on the New Laoag–Pagudpud Terminal and First Pagudpud Inc. Terminal.

Teams examined the condition and cleanliness of terminals, security measures, and facilities for passengers.

They also checked the roadworthiness of the PUVs and compliance with safety standards.

The LTFRB said the inspections aimed to maintain consistent monitoring of public transport operations.

Officials added that similar checks would continue regularly across terminals and vehicles in the region.
