LIV golf stars set to compete in International Series Philippines at Sta. Elena Golf Club

South African Dean Burmester and Australian Marc Leishman headline the roster of LIV Golf stars joining the International Series Philippines, scheduled from October 23 to 26 at Sta. Elena Golf Club in Santa Rosa, Laguna.

Burmester enters the tournament riding high after a breakthrough victory at LIV Golf Miami, where he defeated Jon Rahm and Joaquin Niemann in a thrilling playoff last April. Leishman, part of the all-Australian Ripper GC, brings with him an impressive record of six PGA Tour wins.

Joining them are Cleeks GC’s Richard Bland of England, Iron Heads GC’s Jinichiro Kozuma of Japan, Thailand’s rising star Danthai Boonma, and American standout John Catlin.

Bland, a two-time Senior Major champion, secured a top-10 finish at the International Series England last year and had six top-15 finishes this season, including fifth place in Adelaide. Kozuma, who earned his spot through LIV Golf Promotions in 2023, achieved three top-10 finishes this season, highlighted by a runner-up finish in Dallas.

Boonma is currently ranked No. 5 on the International Series leaderboard and No. 8 on the Asian Tour Order of Merit following a runner-up finish at the International Series Morocco. Meanwhile, Catlin dominated the 2024 season, leading the Asian Tour Order of Merit and securing back-to-back wins at the International Series Macau.

Other notable names in the lineup include Range Goats GC captain Bubba Watson, 4Aces GC’s Patrick Reed, Stinger GC stars Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen, and Filipino golf pride Miguel Tabuena.

The International Series Philippines is the seventh leg of 10 enhanced events on the Asian Tour for the 2025 season, which spans India, Macau, Japan, Morocco, Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia.
