The Kineko International Film Festival is now accepting entries until July 10. The festival will take place in Futakotamagawa, Tokyo, Japan, from October 31 to November 4.
Established in 1992 as the Tokyo Kinder Film Festival, Kineko has grown into Asia’s largest youth-oriented film event. Now operating as a non-profit, it has become Japan’s premier film festival dedicated to children and young audiences.
More than just a screening event, Kineko fosters cultural exchange through cinema and nurtures artistic sensitivity among Japanese children by showcasing films from around the world.
The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) invites Filipino filmmakers to be part of this international celebration of creativity and storytelling.
