Lenovo has once again secured the number one position in Gartner’s Asia/Pacific Supply Chain Top 10 for 2025, marking its fourth consecutive year leading the region. In addition, Lenovo made a strong leap in the global arena, climbing two spots to reach number 8 in Gartner’s Global Supply Chain Top 25 for 2025—its highest global ranking to date.
This continued success highlights Lenovo’s forward-thinking strategy known as “Lenovo powers Lenovo,” which leverages the company’s own technologies, AI-driven systems, infrastructure, and sustainability efforts to enhance supply chain performance and resilience.
A global supply chain built for resilience
Lenovo’s supply chain spans 180 markets and includes over 30 manufacturing sites across 11 countries. This vast and flexible network plays a critical role in helping Lenovo navigate economic shifts and geopolitical challenges.
In a strategic move to strengthen its operations in the Middle East and Africa, Lenovo is expanding its manufacturing footprint to Saudi Arabia. This not only boosts Lenovo’s regional capabilities but also ensures faster and more localized delivery of products and services to customers in the area.
AI-powered transformation from the inside out
At the heart of Lenovo’s supply chain strategy is its commitment to intelligent transformation through AI. By using its own AI technologies and infrastructure tools internally, Lenovo is optimizing everything from logistics to sustainability.
One of the company’s latest innovations is a real-time AI-enabled management platform that monitors supply chain operations, detects potential disruptions, and recommends the most efficient solutions based on cost and availability. This autonomous system allows Lenovo to respond instantly to global logistics issues, ensuring continuous performance and agility.
Amar Babu, President of Lenovo Asia Pacific, shared his perspective: “Holding the top position in Asia Pacific for four years and moving up in the global rankings reflects our mission to build a smarter, more agile, and future-ready supply chain. From AI tools to sustainable logistics, we’re creating meaningful value for customers and partners in a constantly changing world.”
Commitment to sustainability through circular innovation
Sustainability continues to be a key differentiator for Lenovo. The company now integrates recycled content in over 298 of its product lines, using innovative materials like aircraft-grade carbon fiber by-products. Lenovo also uses eco-conscious packaging made from renewable resources such as sugarcane and bamboo.
These efforts contributed to Lenovo’s third-place finish in the Gartner High Tech Top 10 rankings for 2025, further validating its leadership in sustainable and efficient supply chain management.
Lenovo’s continued rise in both regional and global rankings reflects a blend of innovation, responsiveness, and purpose-driven growth. As the demands of the modern world evolve, Lenovo’s supply chain transformation sets a powerful example for how technology and sustainability can move forward together.
