LBC Express, the Philippines’ leading logistics and courier company, announced a major leadership transition with the retirement of President and CEO Mike A. Camahort after 16 years of service. His tenure, marked by resilience, innovation, and global expansion, leaves behind a strong legacy that has shaped LBC into one of the most trusted names in logistics for millions of Filipinos worldwide.
Legacy of Growth and Transformation
Since taking the helm in 2009, Camahort steered LBC through defining milestones that cemented its leadership in the industry. He expanded the company’s ISO 9001:2015 certifications nationwide, further strengthening its reputation for reliability and service excellence.
Under his leadership, LBC widened its global footprint through key overseas acquisitions in 2018, accelerated e-commerce logistics with cash-on-delivery and cash-on-pickup services, and navigated the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic with digital-first solutions. These achievements, along with numerous industry recognitions, underscore a legacy defined by foresight and innovation.
One of Camahort’s most notable contributions was the creation and rapid growth of LBC Corporate Solutions, the company’s B2B division that now stands as a key revenue driver. Serving small enterprises, government agencies, and some of the country’s biggest corporations, it reinforced LBC’s dual identity as both a household name in retail and a trusted logistics partner for large-scale operations.
Looking Ahead: A New Era of Leadership
Effective October 1, 2025, Enrique V. Rey Jr. will assume the role of President and CEO, bringing with him extensive expertise in strategy and business transformation. He will be joined by Rosalie H. Infantado as Chief Financial Officer, recognized for her financial stewardship and governance, and Rene E. Fuentes as Chairman of the Board, who has been instrumental in driving efficiency and innovation across global operations.
This new leadership team is set to build on Camahort’s legacy while steering LBC toward its next phase of growth. Their collective vision centers on operational excellence, customer-driven innovation, and a continued mission to move lives, businesses, and communities with care.
Celebrating the Past, Embracing the Future
As LBC marks its 75th year, the leadership renewal signifies both a tribute to the company’s enduring history and a bold step into the future. With fresh leadership and a renewed commitment to service, LBC remains dedicated to delivering not just packages, but care, connection, and progress to Filipinos everywhere.
