State-run Land Bank of the Philippines has introduced OptiSaver Plus, an upgraded savings account designed to help Filipinos grow their funds while enjoying free insurance coverage.
OptiSaver Plus offers a tiered interest rate of up to 4 percent per annum and provides depositors with free insurance coverage based on their Average Daily Balance (ADB). Those maintaining at least PHP50,000 qualify for either free life or personal accident insurance, while depositors with PHP20 million or more receive both coverages.
The account allows unlimited deposits and withdrawals, with seamless access through LandBank’s digital banking channels and passbook transactions at branches. Existing OptiSaver account holders will be automatically converted to OptiSaver Plus and need only to visit a branch to complete the required forms for insurance benefits.
