It’s official—Lady Gaga is joining the cast of Wednesday Season 2!
The announcement was made during Netflix Tudum 2025, where the global streaming platform surprised fans with Gaga’s performances of “Zombieboy” and “Abracadabra.”
According to Netflix, the pop icon will portray Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary teacher at Nevermore Academy who will cross paths with Wednesday Addams.
In May, Netflix teased a sneak peek of the upcoming season, showing Jenna Ortega (Wednesday) and Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams) practicing fencing. The preview also revealed that Wednesday’s younger brother, Pugsley, is now a student at Nevermore.
The first season of Wednesday debuted in 2022, following Wednesday Addams’ eerie and thrilling first year at Nevermore Academy, where she uses her psychic abilities to solve a murder mystery tied to her father.
One of the show’s most talked-about moments was Wednesday’s viral dance scene at prom.
Season 2 will be released in two parts: Part I drops on August 6, followed by Part II on September 3.
