Krishnah Gravidez is set to represent the Philippines at the 72nd Miss World pageant in India, carrying months of intensive preparation and a heartfelt advocacy.
“Ever since crowning, we’ve been doing our best to be on top of everything,” she shared, noting her rigorous training in fitness, communication, and Q&A under experts like Atty. JT Taylo and John Robert Powers Philippines. “The preparation was, of course, not easy, but I saw how it was built on love.”
Her advocacy, Color the World with Kindness, focuses on creating nurturing communities for children. She and her team have partnered with organizations to rebuild early learning centers and provide support to vulnerable families through small business packages and home renovations.
“With the dedication, passion, months of preparations alongside amazing and talented team and the Filipino people beside me, I am confident that we will bring back pride and honor to our country,” Gravidez said. “Above all, I am going into the 72nd Miss World with a heart filled with gratitude, representing the Philippines is already a win for me.”
She admitted the difficulty of maintaining mental strength amid physical stress but emphasized the importance of love and support during her journey. “Sometimes physical stress can convert to mental stress… but at the end of the day, I know our preparations and how much love we’ve put into this.”
Gravidez credited her Miss World Philippines sisters, ‘Ate Maria and Ate Tracy,’ for inspiring and supporting her throughout her journey. Should she win the crown, she promises to “dedicate [her] whole self in serving people and be part of the Beauty with a Purpose legacy.”
For the talent segment, she’ll showcase her singing skills and wear creations by Filipino designer Rian Fernandez. Although she will be traveling to India alone, she said she has full trust in her team.
She also invited Filipinos to show their support. “Simple words of encouragement will be more than enough but it will be great to support through the Miss World app,” she said.
