Korean actor and global superstar Hyun Bin is finally meeting his Filipino fans. The Crash Landing on You and Secret Garden lead star will visit Manila for an exclusive fan event on August 8 at Solaire Resort Entertainment City in Parañaque.
This marks Hyun Bin’s much-anticipated first visit to the country, an event many fans have been dreaming about since he skyrocketed to international fame.
The actor’s popularity in the Philippines soared following the massive success of the K-drama Crash Landing on You, where he played the iconic role of Captain Ri Jeong-hyeok.
His calm charisma, compelling performances, and chemistry with his real-life partner and co-star Son Ye-jin have made him a household name among Filipino K-drama fans.
Hyun Bin’s visit is part of a promotional event titled “Hyun Bin Lands at Solaire,” a special fan experience organized by Solaire Resort Entertainment City and Solaire Resort North. To gain access to the exclusive event, fans must participate in a raffle promotion that runs from July 1 to July 31, 2025.
To join, customers must spend a minimum of ₱2,000 (net, single-receipt) at participating food and beverage outlets in either Solaire Resort Entertainment City or the newly opened Solaire Resort North in Quezon City. Upon presenting their receipt at designated Solaire box offices, they will receive a raffle ticket, which they can drop into official raffle boxes. The more receipts submitted, the more chances of winning.
A total of 500 winners will be selected—250 from each resort. Each winner will receive one seat to the exclusive fan meet happening on August 8. The official raffle draw will take place on July 31, 2025, and winners will be notified through official channels. Claiming of tickets will run from July 31 to August 7.
Fans are reminded to keep their original receipts and present valid IDs when claiming tickets.
This historic event is expected to draw thousands of entries, with fans eager for even a glimpse of the Korean actor who has captured the hearts of fans worldwide. With no prior visits to the Philippines, Hyun Bin’s arrival is expected to be a major entertainment highlight of the year.
