‘Queen of Tears’ star Kim Soo Hyun took action against Kim Sae Ron’s family and Hoverlab for distributing private photos in violation of a law against sexual crimes.
Hoverlab, the YouTube channel that exposed the relationship between Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron revealed that they were in a relationship when Kim Sae Ron was still a minor.
A law firm representing the actor’s agency, Gold Medalist, confirmed that they had filed a complaint against the operator of Hoverlab and Kim Sae Ron’s family.
Hoverlab exposed private photos of the two, allegedly sent to them by the deceased’s family.
One of the photos showed Kim Soo Hyun had no garments on his lower half.
According to a The Korea Times report, “The law firm claimed that the image could be sexually insulting and should never have been released to the public.”
Previously, the actors’ agency denied the claims that they started dating when she was still underage and said that they dated in 2019 when she turned into an adult and claimed that the relationship lasted until 2020.
The agency also denied that Kim Soo Hyun harassed Kim Sae Ron.
After this, the family of Kim Sae Ron filed a defamation lawsuit against Lee Jin Ho, a YouTuber, for allegedly spreading false information.
Kim Sae Ron’s family demanded a public apology from the actor and called for acknowledgment of their relationship.
