South Korean actor Jung Hae-in will have his own wax figure unveiled at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong this December, joining the museum’s K-Wave Zone alongside Lee Jong-suk and Bae Suzy, his co-stars from While You Were Sleeping.
“We have an aim to enhance the K-Wave Zone experience, and I’m grateful to Jung Hae-in for bringing his dedication to drama to the sitting process,” said Wade Chang, general manager of Merlin Entertainments Hong Kong. “I believe his contribution will greatly promote local tourism and Asian culture,” he added.
Hae-in shared, “I never imagined I would become a famous attraction. Part of me hopes that my wax figure can exude warm positivity to fans worldwide.”
The customization process for the figure took five hours. Hae-in first gained attention in supporting roles for While You Were Sleeping and Prison Playbook, later rising to fame with lead roles in Something in the Rain, D.P., Snowdrop, Connect, and Love Next Door.
