India confirmed that 16 of its citizens, including 10 seafarers, had died in the Middle East since the US-Iran war began in late February.
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs said Thursday that another 75 Indian nationals were injured during the conflict.
The United Arab Emirates recorded the highest number of injured Indians at 32, according to the ministry.
In a separate incident unrelated to military attacks, 12 Indian nationals were killed in an accident at the Ras Laffan gas facility in Qatar.
The United States and Israel launched nearly 900 coordinated airstrikes across Iran, targeting government facilities, military sites, missile infrastructure and air defense systems.
More than 3,300 people were killed in Iran, while tens of thousands were displaced as the fighting continued.
At least 12 US personnel also died, while dozens more were wounded in the conflict.
The war has affected citizens from several Asian and Middle Eastern countries as attacks and disruptions spread across the region.
