BAGUIO CITY – Hundreds of job vacancies will be up for grabs in the Baguio City leg of the nationwide jobs fair of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Jan. 31.
Patrick Rillorta of the DOLE- Cordillera Administrative Region (DOLE-CAR) said the event will be held at SM City Atrium from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
He advised job hunters to prepare several copies of their documents in case they find more job offerings that might suit their qualifications.
“Dapat mentally and physically ready din sila para kapag sinabi na interviewhin na sila ng employer go na lang (They should be mentally and physically ready so that when the employers said they will be interviewed they are ready for it),” he told the Philippine News Agency Wednesday.
Rillorta said DOLE conducts regular job fairs as part of the Labor Day in May, Independence Day, Cordillera Day celebration, and Baguio Day, among others.
He also encouraged the public to take advantage of the activity because several government agencies will also set up booths to help them obtain relevant documents. (PNA)
