Travelers planning their Christmas vacations can enjoy accommodation discounts of up to 70 percent as the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association (HSMA) launches a nationwide hotel voucher promotion ahead of the holiday season.
At least 68 hotels and resorts across the Philippines are participating in the pre-Christmas “book and buy voucher” program, offering discounted stays in popular destinations including Metro Manila, Tagaytay, Batangas, Clark, Baguio, Boracay, Cebu, Bohol, Iloilo, Palawan and Davao.
In a statement Friday, HSMA said the initiative is part of its continuing partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT) under the “Discover More to Love” campaign, which aims to encourage domestic travel.
The promotion offers accommodation discounts ranging from 50 to 70 percent, allowing travelers to purchase hotel vouchers in advance and redeem them for future stays, subject to each property’s booking conditions and validity periods.
“The vouchers also make thoughtful Christmas gifts, offering loved ones the promise of a future weekend away, a family holiday, or a well-deserved break from the everyday routine,” HSMA said.
“With destinations and accommodations to suit different budgets and travel preferences, Discover More to Love encourages Filipinos to explore more of the country while enjoying great value on their next stay,” it added.
