HONOR Philippines has officially introduced the new HONOR X8d, a stylish and feature-packed addition to its X Series lineup, combining sleek aesthetics, long battery life, AI-powered tools, and durable build quality in one mid-range device priced at Php 15,999.
Launched on March 19, the HONOR X8d is designed for consumers who want more from their smartphone without stretching their budget too far. With its ultra-slim 7.5mm body, a massive 7000mAh battery, AI-driven user experience, and a 108MP main camera, the new device is positioned as a practical yet fashionable daily companion.

One of the standout features of the HONOR X8d is its combination of a slim and lightweight design with a battery size rarely seen in its class. HONOR said the smartphone offers up to 52 hours of battery life, verified by TÜV Rheinland, along with six years of battery endurance.
On a single charge, the device can reportedly deliver up to 31 hours of video playback. It also supports 45W wired HONOR SuperCharge for faster top-ups, while multi-point temperature monitoring helps the battery perform in extreme conditions ranging from -20°C to 45°C.
Beyond battery performance, HONOR is pushing the X8d as an AI-enhanced smartphone built for both convenience and productivity. The device comes with an Instant AI Button on the side, allowing users to quickly access frequently used apps and commands with a single press.
A long press activates a wider range of smart features such as Circle-to-Search, AI Subtitles, AI Writing, and Blur Private Info. Running on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, the X8d also includes tools such as Magic Capsule, Magic Portal, AI Memories, AI Settings Agent, and Google Gemini Assistant.
Despite its slim frame, the HONOR X8d is also built to withstand everyday wear and tear. It carries SGS Premium Performance Certification for drop and crush resistance and can survive drops of up to two meters. The device is likewise rated IP65 for water resistance, making it capable of handling splashes, rinses, and even exposure to pressurized water. HONOR added that the phone has been tested to function after being submerged in 0.5 meters of water for up to one minute. Wet-Hand Touch Enhancement also ensures the screen remains responsive even when fingers are damp or greasy.
On the camera front, the smartphone is equipped with a 108MP Ultra-Clear AI Camera designed to capture brighter, sharper images in both daytime and low-light conditions. It also offers 3x lossless zoom for more flexible shooting options. HONOR further enhances the photography experience with AI tools such as AI Eraser, AI Upscale, AI Cutout, and AI Outpainting, giving users more control over mobile photo editing. The HONOR Connection feature also allows seamless moving photo sharing with iOS devices.
The HONOR X8d also delivers a strong viewing experience with its 6.77-inch OLED display, which supports 1.07 billion colors, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak HDR brightness of 3000 nits. HONOR said the device is equipped with six eye-care technologies, including 3840Hz PWM risk-free dimming, Circadian Night Display, Dynamic Dimming, Comfortable Dim-light Adjustment, Low Blue Light, and E-Book Mode.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor, paired with HONOR’s RAM Turbo technology for an equivalent of up to 16GB of RAM through an 8GB physical and 8GB virtual setup. Storage goes up to 512GB, giving users enough room for apps, media, and files.
The HONOR X8d is available in Light Blue, Velvet Black, and Velvet Grey. From March 19 to 27, customers can pre-order the device for Php 15,999 at HONOR Experience and partner stores and receive a free HONOR Camping Light Speakers. Online buyers through Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop will get a free HONOR Earbuds II.
