HONOR joins Save ‘N Earn in celebrating 31 years of innovation in Bohol

Tagbilaran City, Bohol – Save ‘N Earn Wireless (SNE), one of the Visayas’ leading mobile and gadget retail chains, marked its 31st anniversary with a week-long celebration at Island City Mall. The event, held in partnership with HONOR Philippines, highlighted three decades of service, innovation, and community connection.

“Technology should empower lives. This partnership with Save ‘N Earn is more than offering devices—it’s about creating opportunities to connect, work, and thrive. Together, we’re bringing the future of AI closer to every Filipino,” said Stephen Cheng, Vice President of HONOR Philippines.

With the theme “SNE X AI: Empowering the Future of Mobile Life”, this year’s celebration showcased how artificial intelligence is transforming productivity, lifestyles, and digital connectivity. Visitors experienced interactive AI-driven zones featuring holograms, LED displays, and demo stations where HONOR’s latest devices were on full display.

“For 31 years, the trust of our customers and partners has fueled our journey. With HONOR by our side, we look forward to shaping the next decade of innovation and service, bringing AI-powered experiences closer to every Boholano,” said Nikki Roldan, Operations Manager of Save ‘N Earn Wireless.

Team Hashira hailed as Champions. ⁠Members of the team are comprised of the following members: Lienard Sumaylo, Dave Joshua Buid, Christian Darwin Felias, Justin Peter Melan, and Matthew Miles Dag-um.

The event also featured exclusive promos, immersive tech showcases, and entertainment for attendees. HONOR Philippines PR Manager, Pao Oga, emphasized the collaboration’s significance: “The HONOR and Save ‘N Earn partnership goes beyond selling devices. It’s about creating meaningful experiences that empower lives, drive growth, and strengthen accessibility.”

Among the highlights were AI-powered experience booths, where customers tested HONOR’s latest flagship devices, including the HONOR X9c 5G, the HONOR 400 and 400 Pro, the groundbreaking HONOR Magic7 Pro, and the ultra-thin foldable HONOR Magic V5.

Adding to the excitement, HONOR partnered with weTrnd and Honor of Kings for an amateur esports tournament. Six local teams competed for a Php 20,000 cash prize and HONOR X6c smartphones, with Team Hashira emerging as champions. The team, composed of Lienard Sumaylo, Dave Joshua Buid, Christian Darwin Felias, Justin Peter Melan, and Matthew Miles Dag-um, proudly carried home the title.

The week-long celebration concluded with a special performance by the Tropang Singers, homegrown Boholano artists who wowed the crowd with their powerful vocals—capping the anniversary with music, community spirit, and technology-driven energy.
